So a while back we got a small trailer and reveal for some of the rules and the Universe 7 Team. For starters the reason for the name "Universal Survival" is because Omni-King's tournament, if one of the Teams lose their whole Universe will be destroyed. But now for the Universe 7 team and my question for you guys.

It's a bit of a solid team but it's a beings from Earth, you're telling me there isn't anyone in the Universe that is stronger than Master Roshi? But now for my question, do you guys think a "Resurrection F" should be done here? Should Frieza be revived for the tournament? (I know this WILL NOT be happening but it's an idea I'd like opinion for). This is my argument as to why they should bring Frieza.

I'm sure most if not everyone would agree that Frieza is the 3rd strongest being who isn't a god that exist, he is a fan favorite, and would be much better than over half the team at the moment. "But why would Frieza agree to participate in a tournament with Goku and Vegeta? Why would they?" Because this tournament is for the Survival of Universe 7, Goku and Vegeta other than getting strong want to protect Earth, Frieza other than revenge wants to Rule the Galaxy, meaning that he would value Universe 7' survival. If this also comes as an order from Beerus there is no way he would disobey, we saw in the movie how even with his new powers he is terrified of Beerus, if he is that terrified of Beerus imagine being surrounded by other G.o.D who are around equal strength, yes he is Frieza and I would trust him as far as I could throw him, but there wouldn't be much he could do around that level of strength around him.

Also let's be honest, who doesn't want Golden Frieza vs Hit!

But tell me do you think Frieza should have been resurrected for the tournament?

Well... I think that a lot of characters are much stronger than Master Roshi... where's Goten and Trunks? I know that they are children but... they are much more strong than Master Roshi! And Arale? I know she appeared only as a cameo for an episode but was really strong...
And let's not forget Jaco!
Usually they don't bring back evil characters but I really wanted to see Frieza and Cell...

But... all of them are from Earth why?? There really isn't someone left? They can't create a character to add? (Like, some survivors of the Frieza race?)

Goten and Trunks yea they are stronger than Roshi but they don't have Roshi' skills and wisdom (sort of), they're too immature and their "true strength" is Gotenks but Fusion is banned.

Jaco is weaker than Roshi, back in RoF, Roshi actually Kamehameha a bunch of soldiers, Jaco...he tricked them to be eaten by a fish...
Tarble yea he would have been ok, but I think he's too much of a pacifist to fight even if it means the end of the Universe. Also I'm sure Vegeta would have trained him a bit in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, maybe even teach him SSJ.

I truly don't understand why only from Earth, cause I'm sure there has to be something remaining of the Frieza Force and maybe a soldier or two that are just as strong as the Ginyus! How about another Namekian? I'm sure there's a gaggle of Warrior Clan members that are way stronger than him.

Oh right, there's Nail! But... only 3 members od the Frieza race exists? That's really strange....
And the Universe is really big so I really don't understand how they aren't able to create a new character to use here... maybe they need to create some plot with some weak characters?

I'm still confused about 17 being back:

In DBZ, he was absorbed by cell along with 18, however, one of SS2 Gohan's punches made cell regurgitate 18, during then cell realised he couldn't win and blew himself up (along with 17 inside of him)

Cell did survive (and strangely in his perfect form), but then he's disintergrated by the father/son Kamehameha

I think he is alive because in GT we see him traveling the world (now we have to understand when GT take place if it's canon or not....)
Oh wait, here it's explained why he is alive:

All evidence of Android 17 is destroyed along with Cell's initial body, when Cell detonates himself as a last ditch effort to emerge victorious in the Cell Games (as his design allows him to regenerate so long as a single cell of him remains intact).
However, 17's life is restored after the Z Fighters use the Dragon Balls to revive those who died as a result of Cell's campaign.

So that's why he is still alive and he has been serving as a park ranger after the Cell Games

The opening is... nice maybe much better of the previous one but... yesterday episode was really slow now I think there will be 2-3 episodes where Goku go seach for the warriors...

Finally watched everything and... I think that Goku's wish to fight against all the Universes was destroyed by Omni-King since he want's to destroy the weak universes (and with this he already saved some).
But if they have to save the universe isn't best to use strong figthers like Goten/Trunks instead of Master Roshi?? And there's really no one else strong enought to enter the tournament??? WHy don't they revive Freeza or Cell? XDDD

And.... the entrire exibition thing... why not showing to the Future Omni-King the Kami Tube? They showed that they can register previous things and show them to everyone everywhere...

(I think that in the end Goku will simply ask Omni-King to spare everyone... or to create only one single Universe XD)

Especially with how the rules have been set up, I really don't know why Goten or Trunks isn't a part of it... Well actually...The Wives!!! They're the reason they aren't fighting! Chichi just wants Goten to study... And Bulma, she might be a little more lenient but at the same time I don't think she'd want him to fight people like Hit or Frost/Lavender who use poison!

But I guess they decided to hold the match cause:
1. An excuse to gather all the Gods
2. A little preview of what's to come!

That could be what happen, or Goku revives them with the SDB, or it's a lie made by the Grand Priest... Who knows!!!
