Ranked Battle Season Rating Battle Season 13

The new rules for the upcoming Rating Battle (Season 13) have been revealed. The new season will start from November 17, 2015 for Pokémon XY (in the X/Y League) and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (in the ΩR/αS League).

Format: Double Battles (all Pokémon will be set to level 50 for the duration of the battle)
Item Restrictions: No Mega Stones allowed
Pokémon Restrictions: Pokémon that are typically restricted, such as some Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, will continue to be disallowed

NOTE: Pokémon in Standard format battles will return to requiring the blue pentagon

Prepare for a twist to the Special format when Rating Battle Season 13 begins on November 17, 2015 at 00:00 UTC! This season, leave your Mega Stones in your Bag because Mega Evolution will not be permitted. Return to the time before Mega Evolution was discovered and compete in fierce Double Battles. Additionally, Pokémon in Standard format battles will return to requiring the blue pentagon, meaning you cannot bring them into your game via the Poké Transporter. In all formats, the Pokémon that are typically restricted, such as some Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, will continue to be disallowed. Plus, all Pokémon will be set to Level 50 for the duration of the battle.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire players will continue to battle against players from only those games in the ΩR/αS League. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players will compete in a separate league against other Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players in the X/Y League.
