Ranked Battle Season SM-USUM: Rating Battle Season 15

The new rules for the upcoming Rating Battle (Season 15) have been revealed. Rating Battle Season 15 began on April 2, 2019, at 00:00 UTC.
Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but note that Pokémon Sun / Pokémon Moon battles and Pokémon Ultra Sun / Pokémon Ultra Moon battles will be ranked separately.

Rating Battle Season 15:
Format: Single
Pokémon Restrictions: Mewtwo, Dusclops, and Dusknoir will not be allowed in this competition because they have the Pressure ability
Special Format Rules: this format prohibits all moves except Metronome

This Rating Battle season is number 15, and you’ll have the opportunity to test your skills against players from around the world! Challenge other Trainers to climb the leaderboards and find out where you rank in the global competition. The Rating Battle leaderboards reset at the beginning of each season, so you’ll start at the same level as everyone else. As you battle, you’ll move up or down the rankings based on your match outcomes. Rating Battle Season 15 began on April 2, 2019, at 00:00 UTC.

Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon, but please note that Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon battles will be ranked separately from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon battles. Also, Pokémon and moves introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon may not be used in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Rating Battles.

This season’s Special format features Single Battles and prohibits all moves except Metronome. This move causes your Pokémon to use nearly any move, so there’s no telling what attack you will hit your opponent with. Expect plenty of exciting chaos during these battles!

Participants will need to visit the Move Deleter in the Hau’oli City Pokémon Center and delete all their Pokémon’s moves except Metronome. Since each has the Ability Pressure, Mewtwo, Dusclops, and Dusknoir will not be allowed in this competition.

Remember that you’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account and your own copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon registered at the Pokémon Global Link to participate.
