So, here we will talk about the latest chapter of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia)!
This thread may contain spoilers if you have NOT read the latest chapter of My Hero Academia!


Chapter 196 is out, what do you guys think?

That mutt is annoying... I do find it funny how the Vine girl sounds all religious, I'm guessing it's a crown of thorns type of joke.

I don't know if we will but personally I hope not, I know MHA is the story of how Deku became the #1 Hero, but getting to see the others is great! I love seeing how Deku isn't the only one ever coming up with some sort of strategy.

Is it me or is it me that hope this arc will be quick?

Why? This Arc is going great cause we finally get to see what the 2nd Hero Course can do! Through all this series we mostly only see the main cast which is understandable, but seeing other characters where we have no idea how they fight, their tactics, their actual quirks, etc.
Plus this Arc is a school arc which is what MHA should mostly be about yet they're keeping the fighting aspect, I enjoy arcs like that!

Why? This Arc is going great cause we finally get to see what the 2nd Hero Course can do! Through all this series we mostly only see the main cast which is understandable, but seeing other characters where we have no idea how they fight, their tactics, their actual quirks, etc.

I don't know... I liked more the previous one where Deku and friends had to do the school festival (and that fight Deku vs the Gentle Criminal was really good)
maybe I don't like that much the school arcs?

Which festival are we talking about? Sports festival or the one where they sang in?

The second one... like you said the first one was the sports festival while the one where they sangs was the school festival (if I remember well XDDD)

There are some people who call the Sports Festival the school Festival, then again most of them only watch the anime...

So this new chapter answered a question which I've had since they first revealed One for All's history & nature.
When OfA is given to someone who already has a Quirk, how does it react to it? Do they meld somehow? Does it amplify the Quirk? When OfA is transferred is only that Quirk being transferred or is that users original Quirk also transferred?

So many questions answered in one chapter! Can't wait to see what other Quirks will Deku have access to now! But there is one thing bugging me... Why didn't All Might have access to these other Quirks? Why didn't he know about them? What makes him and Deku so different if they were both Quirkless before OfA?

That's exactly the problem why is he and Deku so different if they were both Quirkless? Why could Toshinori use it at 100% so easily but Deku breaks an arm with a flick of switch... Unless... What if GameTheory is correct? What if Toshinori has a Quirk which allowed him to use OfA?

Wasn't that because he somehow trained or his mental state allowed him to use One for All at 100%? Something like when in Dragon Ball Kirllin's death awakend Goku's transformation...

Except that was never stated, all it was said that Toshinori could use it at 100% for unknown reason, mental training was never mentioned.

1. Love Aizawa even more! I've always liked him but now he's reaching #1 favorite, which I didn't really have until now.
2. Can't wait for the next chapter! I really want to see if he uses any of the other quirks!

2. I don't think we will see the other quirks... at least, not in the next chapter XD it will take a while because I think Deku will unlock them like with this one: encounter the previous One For All user that will unlock its power for him

It seems that even Black Whips' use will be limited. But seeing as these Quirks will be something he can only use at 100% makes me question, if All Might never reached that point? He might have thought he reached 100% in his prime before the battle against All for One but he didn't.
