For now they confirmed:
- Pokémon spawn based on where they'd actually exist in the real world (water types near water and so on)
- they didn't expect that many people to play the game
- the trades will come to the game when the servers will be stable
- they plan to add more Pokémon in the future (like the generation 2)
- they plan to ass things like Pokémon Centers, more customization of PokéStops (to heal Pokémon and other functions)
- the Eevee Easter Eggs is TRUE (if you name it properly you can control how it evolves: you can rename it to Rainer, Sparky, or Pyro to yield Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon)
- there's more Easter Eggs to be discovered
in the Q&A they asked about Breeding in the game: they said that it's an interesting indea but they haven0t thought about it for now | they are working on a training update
- the team have something to do with the 3 legendary birds
- they have something to announce about the teams and they will do it soon
- Niantic CEO confirms that there aren't legendary Pokémon at SDCC today, they want to release the game to more contries before
- artworks of the 3 tams leaders:
CoKSQFzUkAAFNB7[1].jpg CoKSQFrUsAAL7bd[1].jpg CoKSQM3VMAAL6Ao[1].jpg
- the 3 leaders will be in the game soon and will give advice
- better quality of the artworks
CoKSMI2XgAABNam[1].jpg
- They said the artwork wasn't ready in time for game launch
- Niantic stated they consider this Pokemon’s official MMO

I think Blanche is a girl, 'cause looks like she (assuming that is a girl) is wearing high-heel shoes.

The Android is incontrovertibly the most popular mobile OS nowadays, and with the popularity of Apple's devices like iPhone and iPad, it seemed a fair decision of Niantic to develop Pokémon Go just for Android and iOS, ignoring less popular platforms. But, what about the Windows Phone? The Microsoft's platform conquered some fans, and the support of some developers, what wasn't enough to Niantic Labs develop Pokémon to it.

But, if you're a WP user, you don't need to cry, 'cause a developer, which I think we can describe as a "fairy godmother" of the WP users, is going to develop a unofficial port of Pokémon Go for the Microsoft's OS.

Pokemon Go For Windows Phone Being Developed By A Third Party

pokemon-go-windows-phone.png

Pokemon Go has quite literally taken the world by storm. Millions of people across the globe are being motivated to get up and go outside to catch elusive little monsters. The game is only available for iOS and Android, and it’s very likely that these are the two platforms it’s going to be available on for quite a while. A petition was floated recently to get Niantic to develop Pokemon Go for Windows Phone but it seems unlikely for that to happen, but a third-party developer is taking up the charge.

That petition has reached nearly 90,000 signatures and yet there has been no official response from Niantic about whether or not it’s going to release a Windows Phone version for Pokemon Go.

Third-party developer ST-Apps is said to be working on a Windows 10 Mobile port of Pokemon Go. The developer has also posted a proof of concept online which reveals what his port of the game is going to look like on Windows 10 Mobile.

It won’t have some of the augmented reality features of the game that you will find in the official versions of Pokemon Go for iOS and Android, but it will still enable Windows Phone users to go around catching Pokemon in the wild.

It’s unclear when the developer is going to release an open source version of this game. He’s concerned about Niantic’s servers being encrypted soon which would ultimately kill this project and he’s also concerned about legal issues that might arise should he release an unofficial port of Pokemon Go for Windows-powered handsets.

Niantic Labs published this message on Facebook today:

Trainers,

As many of you know, we recently made some changes to Pokémon GO.

- We have removed the ‘3-step’ display in order to improve upon the underlying design. The original feature, although enjoyed by many, was also confusing and did not meet our underlying product goals. We will keep you posted as we strive to improve this feature.

- We have limited access by third-party services which were interfering with our ability to maintain quality of service for our users and to bring Pokémon GO to users around the world. The large number of users has made the roll-out of Pokémon GO around the world an... interesting… challenge. And we aren’t done yet! Yes, Brazil, we want to bring the game to you (and many other countries where it is not yet available).

We have read your posts and emails and we hear the frustration from folks in places where we haven’t launched yet, and from those of you who miss these features. We want you to know that we have been working crazy hours to keep the game running as we continue to launch globally. If you haven’t heard us Tweeting much it’s because we’ve been heads down working on the game. But we’ll do our best going forward to keep you posted on what’s going on.

Be safe, be nice to your fellow trainers, and keep on exploring.

The Pokémon GO team

I'm waiting, my body is ready!

Problem about pokemon go is that if you want to be competitive, you almost need to be max level, since pokemon strenght scales with your trainer level. So people that can farm those 4million+ XP that are needed, have an advantage. And guess what? People cant do that, unless they play for thousands of hours... but bots can do it in like a month. So the game is not fair at all.

But its still fun to catch an abra on your toilet :D

Does anyone here played Pokémon GO last week? Because, seriously, I tried to play basically every single day without success...
Every time I tried, a couple of second after the game start, my character just got stuck on the map and won't move.

I can't believe that it is a problem with my cellphone, as other apps that use internet connection + GPS, like the Here Maps, for example, still working perfectly.
