SM [Spoiler] Pokémon Sun and Moon Spoilers/Datamine Thread

Let's start this thread with all the info we can find in Sun/Moon!

Not totally confirmed but apparently, according to a leaker, 803 is the final Dex number. So 82 new + Alolan Forms (We don't know if Ultra Beasts count on the Dex).

Things you need to know:

1. Unavailable Pokemon have been stubbed out using pikachu's base stats, this means that it is unlikely that unreleased Pokemon will be found. Thanks to a loophole we have unlocked all the sprites.
2. I will check every single source of Info I can and then add them to this list with spoiler tags so you can choose what you want to see.
3. If you don't care about spoilers you can go follow the people I gave credit to at the bottom of this post.
4. Only the starter split-evo poster is fake, chinese leak is real

For those of you that do not want spoilers I suggest two things:

Status effects

• Paralyze Speed reduction has been nerfed to 1/2

Pokemon Moves

• Psychic terrain - Pokemon on the ground will not be hit by priority moves & Boosts power of Psychic moves
  
  
• Throat chop - Pokemon can't use any move that produces sound for two turns
  
  
• Aurora Veil - Halves the power of special and physical attacks for 5 turns
  
  
• Laser Focus - The move on the turn after the Pokemon uses Laser Focus always results in a critical hit

All other moves have been scrubbed and replaced with pound if they were not in the game

• Love Lunala's Shiny form!
• Tsareena's Shiny form is perfect for the team I'm planing
• I like Salandit's evolution
• Whimpod's evolution looks awesome but at the same time it seems like it needs a middle evolution...

What I don't like...

• Marshadow!? WTF!!! That puny thing!?
• Why does Persian look like Garfield's goth cousin...
• Komala doesn't evolve!?
• Why do Ultra Beast have shiny!? I'm actually hoping they're NOT catchable!!!

I applause those who have fought for quadruped litten evolution to this moment for not losing hope for the reveal of a well designed Pokémon even when all the evidence was against us.

Some new info:

Move Data

719 total moves

Move info scrubbed, however, other things weren't.

3 of the new Gen VII moves can be taught by TM.

98 new moves in Gen VII, 29 of them being Z-moves.

All 18 types have a Z-move.

There are 11 special Z-moves, like Pulverizing Pancake.

HMs are removed.

There are 100 TMs in total. Most TMs have returned from Gen VI.

Some TMs have had moves replaced. Hone Claws was replaced with Work Up, Dig was replaced with Leech Life, Struggle Bug was replaced with Fly, Rock Smash was replaced with Surf, and Power Up Punch was replaced with Waterfall.

The three new move TMs are unknown, but replace Incinerate, Retaliate, and Flash.

Item Data

920 items in total, 145 items being new to Gen VII.

58 of the new items are related to Z-moves. 29 Z-crystals total, then small and large versions of the same items.

There's an unknown held item that affects a Pokemon in battle, plus an unknown Full Heal based item like the Lava Cookie.

Silvally has its own held items for changing its type, separate from Arceus's plates.

There are some unknown held items with effects.

The Ice Stone used to evolve Alolan Vulpix has a high chance of being in the game.

There are multiple items that are apparently related to Zygarde cells, with a Key Item for changing Zygarde's form. Exact details are vague.

Four bikes and a travel trunk(?) were stubbed from the game.

A new Pokeball exists, presumably used to capture UB Pokemon.

Misc. Data

The leaked Pokedex models are confirmed to be from the Alolan Pokedex.

Groudon's Primal Reversion, Kyogre's Primal Reversion, and Hoopa Unbound still exist in Gen VII.

Strange Souvenir from XY is in Gen VII, its data being unchanged.

No new fossils or new fossil Pokemon.

Evolution tables are scrubbed in the demo.

Save Data

Demo save files are very close to the same data used in the final game.

The save data for the demo is larger than the save data for XY.

Box data is present in the demo, but inaccessible.

Many other data blocks in the demo go unused.

In comparison, the ORAS demo was very small and scrubbed of many unnecessary blocks.

It's apparently very difficult to edit the save data of the demo.

Only Grass/Steel at the moment I think is Ferrothorn and he's pretty good, so another one would be pretty good possibly! I originally thought Pikipek would evolve into either a Grass/Flying or Steel/Flying Woodpecker, but Toucan Sam has ruined that idea and seems to only be a Normal/Flying... Empoleon is awesome! I have literally Solo all through Platinum with Empoleon! Only other time I had a successful Solo was in Ruby with Blaziken...

I get your point, but, even than Grass/Steel could be better than Grass/Flying in competitive battle, I prefer Grass/Flying because I like flying types.

About Empoleon, I can agree with you about his looking, because he really looks pretty cool! But, he just didn't work with the way I play (which basically consists in don't have any strategy than no attack. xD).
