The Pokémon Company has announced the next Tera Raid Event.
From January 6 till January 8, 2022 the next Tera Raid Event will feature Hydreigon (for Pokémon Scarlet) and Dragapult (for Pokémon Violet).
The Raids will be 4 and 5 stars.

The Pokémon Company has announced the next two Tera Raid Events.

From Friday, December 23, at 00:00 to Sunday, December 25, at 23:59 UTC, Delibird will be appearing more frequently in Tera Raid Battles. These Delibird will have various Tera Types.
1-star to 5-star Tera Raid Battles will feature Delibird.

Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark will be appearing in black crystal Tera Raid Battles to commemorate 2023—the Year of the Rabbit.
Cinderace cannot normally be encountered in Paldea and the Cinderace appearing during this event has Fighting as its Tera Type. This Pokémon has the Mightiest Mark.

From December 9 till December 11, 2022 the next Tera Raid Event will feature Tyranitar (for Pokémon Scarlet) and Salamence (for Pokémon Violet).
The Raids will be 4 and 5 stars.
Ranked Battle Season Scarlet/Violet: Ranked Battles Season 1

The new rules for the Ranked Battle (Season 1) have been revealed.
Season 1 starts Friday, December 2, 2022, at 0:00 UTC to Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 23:59 UTC.

Eligible Pokémon:
Pokémon in the Paldea Pokédex are eligible to participate. Certain Pokémon may not be used.
Only Pokémon obtained in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet games are eligible.

Total Time: 20 minutes
Player Time: 7 minutes
Preview Time: 90 seconds
Turn Time: 45 seconds

After the season ends and results are announced, you may be eligible for rewards based on the results of your battles. You must finish at least one match with a win or loss during the season to be eligible for Season 1 rewards.

A new patch (version 1.1.1) for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be available tomorrow, December 2, on the eShop.
This patch implements several adjustments to improve the overall gaming experience.

Content of the update:
  • Following the start of Ranked Battles season 1, you can now enjoy Ranked Battles from the Battle Stadium.
    • Please check the in-game notice for more details about Ranked Battles Season 1.
  • An issue has been fixed that caused the music to not play correctly during the battles with the Elite Four and the Top Champion in the Victory Road path.
  • Various other issues have also been fixed.

During this event, Eevee will be appearing more frequently in Tera Raid Battles, and they will have various Tera Types.

Mightiest Mark Event (Charizard - Dragon Tera Type)
During your adventures in the Paldea region, you may find black crystals that look different than the ones you ordinarily approach to take on a Tera Raid Battle. The Pokémon you’ll face at these black Tera Raid crystals are much stronger than those that appear at ordinary Tera Raid crystals, and defeating them can net you rewards that are even more exciting than usual.

Pokemon HOME Pokémon HOME Compatibility for Scarlet/Violet Launches Spring 2023, Battle Data feature slated for early 2023

The official website confirmed today that the compatibility between Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, and Pokémon HOME is slated for spring 2023.
After you’ve linked either title to Pokémon HOME, you’ll be able to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to Pokémon HOME and bring select Pokémon from past games to the Paldea region.

The Pokémon you’ll be able transfer to each game via Pokémon HOME are limited to Pokémon that can appear in those games.

A Battle Data feature is scheduled for early 2023. You’ll be able to view information about Trainer rankings, frequently used Pokémon, Online Competitions, and more.

SV Day One Patch (version 1.0.1) Confirmed for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The official website has confirmed a Day One patch for the upcoming Pokémon games, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Downloading the version 1.0.1 update will allow you to enjoy online play, so please be sure to update your game before you start playing.

To download the version 1.0.1 update, you will need at least 1GB of free space in your system memory or on your microSD card.

In order to download updates or play online, your user profile will need to be linked to a Nintendo Account and you must be able to connect your Nintendo Switch to the internet. Linking your user profile to a Nintendo Account and connecting your system to the internet does not require a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.

A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access online multiplayer and the Battle Stadium.
