The 2025 Global Challenge II Online Competition for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet is scheduled from Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST.

Competition Details:

• Format: Double Battles using Pokémon from the Paldea region, including those from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Regulation Set G applies, allowing one special restricted Pokémon per Battle Team.
• Registration:Sign-ups are open until Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST. To register, follow these steps:
  1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
  2. Open the X menu.
  3. Select Poké Portal.
  4. Select Battle Stadium.
  5. Select Online Competitions.
  6. Under Official Competitions, select Search for a competition.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon, will be featured during the March Community Day Classic in Pokémon GO.

In celebration of Pokémon Day on February 27, 2025, The Pokémon Company has announced that all four episodes of the stop-motion animated series Pokémon Concierge will be released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. In celebration of Pokémon Day on February 27, 2025, a new anime titled "Dragonite and the Mailman" is set to premiere.
