Mystery Dungeon Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky - Discussion Thread

Hello trainers!

Yesterday I decided to continue playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, after a long time without insert the cartridge on my Nintendo DS. I never really play this game for long period because I think it is kinda tiring. But, anyway I want to finish this and know how the plot is developed until the end.

So, I'm creating this thread to see what are your opinion about these games, what teams you made and everything else.

Starting here, when I did the personality test I got the hasty type, which means I playing as a Shinx, and I think it is cool because it fits me because I'm a bit hasty ~~all the time~~ sometimes. For my main partner I chose the rash type, Torchic, because I thought hasty and rash types would make a nice combination.

Also, I got the "blue marine" aura, but I don't really know how the aura influences the game.

Explorers of Darkness is my favorite Pokémon Mystery Dungeon! I really like it and the story is really interesting and well developed :yesyes:

and I really love the characters!
(I started Exp. of Sky but I haven't finished it for now XD)

I really love Grovile's story and I was really sad when he returned to the future :cry:

but I'm glad that in Sky you can play with him and discover what happened!

I like the personality test but I cheated searching for the answers to get Pikachu (because he is my favorite starter XD -> and I'm happy that until here Pikachu and all the others have a gender :yeahyeah:

) and my partner was Piplup because I love penguins and he is really cute asd

When I was taking the personality test I was thinking about cheating it, because I thought I would get a Pokémon which I don't like. But, I got Shinx and I'm indifferent about this one, but when I read the description of the hasty type I thought "Yeah, I know how you feel, Shinx".

Mystery Dungeon are always fun to play (except Gates to Infinity, which I didn't enjoy at all)
I've played them all and my favourite is Blue/Red Rescue Team but Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky were great too! I played Sky in Japanese so I didn't understand what it was about but since I had previously played Darkness I think it was mostly the same storyplot.

Yes

Sky has the same plot of the others...so I found it a little boring :coffee:

but they added some extras so it's ok :yeahyeah:

I loved Pokémon Sky, it is still my favorite Mystery Dungeon game. XD

The story was great, and I loved the large selection of Pokémon that were available.

I did get Vulpix, the relaxed type. I had my partner as Shinx, since he just seemed like a great and wonderful partner. Unfortunately, I got stuck on the final boss, so I restarted the game, seeing if I could beat it the second time around. This time, I actually got Eevee, the jolly type. I chose Vulpix as my partner, since I felt that that would be good. It was, and after forever, I beat the game I so loved.

Fun fact: Despite I had created this thread, I gave up of Explores of Sky after, don't know, six hours of gaming...
~~But I did finish Gates, 'cause Snivy and Axew rocks.~~

I think that the entire "Explorers of" is great :yesyes:

maybe because the story is really good :yesyes:
