I'm glad you've enjoyed it ^-^ I probably will do this more often, I think more with the beta version because the alpha is not really that big to do more of such stunts xD

Hello Everyone!!
I have some good news for you guys!!

Alpha is finally finished!!! :popcorn:

I'm currently debugging the game >-< and honestly it is quite hard to test out EVERYTHING I had put in, JUST to make sure it works correctly....
I know you're probably going to say 'But Tintje, it's just the Alpha version... so bugs are accaptable!' to which I reply, 'The more bugs I get out of it now, saves me loads of time when I'm working on Beta because I basically don't have to look at Alpha while bug testing Beta... so even when I release Alpha there might be bugs and I hope that people will point it out to me when they have found one which I missed xD'

SO I'm way on schedule to release it before x-mas, so peeps, keep your eyes peeled on my website (the luminon website I made for it) for when the download will be available
Dun worry, I will put a message here if it's available

Yes that indeed means it is playable!
I've currently only done a 'speed run' variant of the debugging, see how far I can get without to much effort, I found it quite challenging (that means I basically barely grinded my Pokémon, avoided any trainer I didn't had to fight) and I'm now testing the gym out!!... to which I noticed I forgot to make a sprite for a certain trainer haha so doing that now >-<
Also I found a couple of bugs which are now fixed, and managed to figure something out which would otherwise be a mandatory bug until I had figured it out... it seemed to be a little bit easier then I thought xD so that mandatory bug is vanished now xD

Yeah I think it might even be released begin or mid November if everything goes alright xD, Also I have Just remembered... I still need to make the intro hahaha but that is not really so hard xD only need to make a sprite of Professor Rito >-<

Alright everyone!! Today is the big day!! Mark it on your calendar (haha no not necessary).
I'm currently compiling the Alpha Demo v1.0 to make it ready for downloading :lole2:

.. Ooh gosh I'm so nervous :afraid:

I'll give you another update (maybe today) when you all can go and download it... before I'm actually doing that I'll go and do a last check if the game works (as the compiled part) as how it supposed to do xD.

So that was the big news haha, see you later again xD

I have made the download available!! Yeay!! if you wish to download it here is how you can do it!

Option 1: Go to my Luminon website (https://tintjemadelintje101.wixsite.com/pokemonluminon) -> Click on 'Download' -> Scroll down to find 'Newest Version' -> Click on the link below named 'Pokemon Luminon - Alpha Demo v1.0' -> And download it!!

So... I have a suggestion... about the intro (don't know how to call it)

well... my suggestion is: the logo of the game cover the Pokémon, it's a little sad becuase we can't see the full sprite so maybe it's better to put him a little down (or resize the logo)

Hi thanks for the suggestion, though I sadly cannot do allot about that (yet). Because I used a script for that, it was available when I added it in (it was a script you could get through something called the universal plugin installer, other scripts were available too with that) but now the installer is not developed anymore and either is the full website and download gone... so I already had managed to tune down the sound drastically (because it would blast your ears of haha) but I'll see if I can do something about the logo ^-^ maybe I'll use another one for the intro instead of the BW I'll do the SM intro that one doesn't have a Pokémon (but then in the next demo version ^-^)

So I've put an update on the thread where I keep track of the bugs mentioned by everyone here and elsewhere ^-^
I mention which bugs I have fixed (in the post itself) and what I'm going to do next

Here is another very good news update!!

The new Alpha Demo v1.1 is now available!!!!!! Yeay, the link is on my website so follow the steps provided in the post to know how to download the game xD
Also just in case, please make sure that if you are going to replace your savegame, please save in the 'Ranchville Underground Facilities' (the one with the PokéCenter in Ranchville) because I have put a slight 'Security question' just because of the recent bugs found to make sure it all is still on the right spot ^-^.

It depends on how far you are in the game, if you have done basically everything until the underground and maybe even route 3 you could keep the save file.
But if it's early in the game then I would just recommend to restart the game because some things did change during the choosing Pokémon part and which Poké your rivals have (that is especially different in the male version now, the male and female now have different rivals and rival Pokémon)
