For now I haven't any of the gen 1 games on my 3ds because I already own them all with the cartridge (and the price is a little high :yeahyeah:)

I just got me the new Pokémon 3DS and it came with Red and Blue. And then to help with myself with trades and to catch them all, got a used older model 3DS and put Yellow on it.

Welcome to the community! Have a nice stay!!
The first generation is really easy to complete the Pokédex :yesyes: so good luck!
(And with the two 3DS you caught every game from the 1st generation! roftl)

Thanks. I still have my old Pokémon Blue and a guide book for it back from 1998.

Although I have the original cartridges, nostalgia did a pretty decent job reminding me how much I enjoyed those games. So I got Pokémon Yellow and I'm currently on my way to beat the E4. Didn't remember leveling up in this generation was that hardroftl

I restarted Red (on the original cartridge) and I'm doing a Nuzlocke and... training is really difficult

Yes :yesyes: you need someone with a 3DS, a copy of the game (Red, Blue or Yellow from the Virtual Console). With this you have to use the local wireless communication of your 3DS to trade and battle :yesyes:

the games are a tad bit expensive, considering that you can find roms of red and blue very easily, i might consider getting crystal since i can get the celebi in-game hahah
Years ago I bought both Red and Blue for Game Boy at 2 or 3 euro :yesyes2: :sisi2:
I bought Silver becuase I thought that the physical version will have the same things that the Japanese got (poster, a magnet...) and... no... nothing like that was inside :cry3:

No, they didn't have the original package... only the cartridge, but 2 games at that price was a good deal so I bought them both XD
