you need someone with a 3DS, a copy of the game (Red, Blue or Yellow from the Virtual Console). With this you have to use the local wireless communication of your 3DS to trade and battle

I bought Silver becuase I thought that the physical version will have the same things that the Japanese got (poster, a magnet...) and... no... nothing like that was inside
