I thought it would be great to have a place to talk about the recently released Yo-Kai Watch game as well as the anime.

In order to make this thread enjoyable for everyone we have to have some rules:
1). Use the spoiler tag when talking about things that can spoil someone's surprise.
2) Please keep the bashing to a minimal.
3) Have fun!, seriously it's a pretty fun game

For now I don't own the game... is it really that good??
(I know it but never informed myself about it...)

I would really consider it a hit or miss game, it seems like the people who end up enjoying the game appreciates the humor, story and the Yo-kai themselves.

Personally I really love the game and it's been hard to put down; real life ends up being the one factor stoping me from playing continuously.

I completed the first 2 chapters for now the story seems interesting
The musics are good and the gameplay is ok (I have to get use to the battle modes )

The only thing that I don't like very much are the english dubs...

I just got my first S rank: Auntie Heart who I read is a great healer.

The main game is less than 22 hours... and the game isn't really difficult... I won at the final boss at the first trial...
I love cats and my part was full of Yo-Kai that resemble cats XD (Jibanyan, Komane and Komiger) my favorite is Count Cavity

My final team was: Auntie Heart (like you said is perfect as a healer ), Jibanyan (I wanted to fuse him but I was near the end and a lv. 25 Yo-Kai wasn't really useful...), Komane, Komiger, Count Cavity and Venoct
(so I used 2 S ranks, 2 A ranks and a D rank XD)

Yo-kai Watch 2 will be released in North America on September 30, 2016 while in Europe in Spring 2017
I really don't know why Europe has to wait that long but I'm happy that I will be able to play the game some days after the NA release
