TV and Movies 4k tv

So I have a question not sure if I should or shouldnt get it lol.

I have had my tv for about 10 years now. I found a great deal on a 4k tv the tv itself has great reviews and it is brand new. The question is should I get it

Good to hear as a PC Gamer back when my wireless Xbox Controller was working I'd hook up my Laptop to the TV and played my games from the couch XP

I have one but there's little to no 4K content currently, so it's a bit of a waste :\
