Pokken Braixen, Garchomp and Mewtwo join the fight in Pokkén Tournament

The latest issue of CoroCoro revealed three new playable characters for Pokkén Tournament on the Wii U version: Braixen, Garchomp and (standard) Mewtwo.

Garchomp is a Power category Pokémon and will use moves like Sand Storm and Dragon Rush. It can mega evolve into Mega Garchomp.
Braixen specializes in a long-range fighting style with moves like Fire Blast.
Mewtwo can turn into Shadow Mewtwo form with "Resonance Burst".

Mewtwo I'm not surprised he's in.
Garchomp I'm surprised yet at the same time I'm not, but he's a good addition.
Braixen most unexpected ever, but I'm ok with it out of the 3 evolutions, Braixen is the one I like the most.

I'm happy for Garchomp and Mewtwo since the two seems really powerful but Braixen... I'm not really sure... it's a little unexpected

When I first saw regular Mewtwo I was thinking he was going to be like Jin from Tekken who has his Human form and his Devil form, or like Ryu from Street Fighter who has his Normal form and his Evil form. But I guess not since he can turn into Shadow Mewtwo in Battle.

Maybe because Delphox is a mage and Braixen not for now (or maybe they use the random Pokémon generator )

Actually I can think 2 reasons:
1. Imagine trying to move with that skirt of Delphox's, especially with the type of acrobatics they do in this game.
2. It was brought to my attention that Braixen is the first Gen 6 Pokémon to join Pokkén Tournament. This could be a sign that anyone can truly join the Roster.

I agree with the second one and I hope to see some other 6th gen 'mons joining the fight

Hopefully they won't favor one gen over another with their final roster. Hawlucha would be a nice one.

I really wanted Hawlucha in the game but I think that the roster is now closed and they won't add new Pokémon
