adventure2020characterart02_march5_2020.png

Taichi Yagami: 5th grader. He is an 11-year-old with a fierce sense of responsibility who would rather act for someone else rather than for himself. When he's suddenly pulled into the internet to battle, he is able to correctly decide on what he needs to do, turning a pinch into opportunity.

Agumon: Taichi's Digimon partner. He appears to know Taichi from long ago. When their hearts combine, he evolves into Greymon to release a powerful fireball. He seems to have fulfilled a major role in a great war that took place in the old internet, but...?

adventure2020characterart04_march5_2020.png

Yamato Ihida: 5th grader. He dove into the internet way before Taichi, and has been investigating the unknown world. He's easily misunderstood because he's a boy of few words who is always "act first, explain later," but everything he does is to protect his friends. He opposes Taichi at times, but when it comes down to it, they both trust and depend on each other.

Gabumon: Yamato's Digimon partner. He understands Yamato's feelings better than anyone. When he evolves, he becomes the warrior Garurumon who excels in speed.

adventure2020characterart06_march5_2020.png

Sora Takenouchi: 5th grader. Taichi's childhood friend. In class, she's the "big sister" that the other girls depend on. Even when she jumps into the internet, she understands the situation and immediately works with Taichi.

Piyomon: Sora's Digimon partner. She is like a baby who follows Sora wherever she goes. She evolves into Birdramon, who specializes in aerial battle

adventure2020characterart08_march5_2020.png

Koushiro Izumi: 4th grader. He lives in the same apartment complex as Taichi. Although he has a withdrawn personality, he is knowledgeable on the internet and is good at gathering and analyzing information. An incident involving the city's loop line is what causes him and Taichi to become friends, and they both jump into the adventure together.

Tentomon: Koushiro's Digimon partner. The moodmaker who speaks in a strange Kansai dialect. When he evolves into Kabuterimon, his exoskeleton strengthens giving him superior defense

adventure2020characterart10_march5_2020.png

Mimi Tachikawa: 4th grader. She is a princess who consistently does her own thing, putting her own interests first. In their adventure in the unknown world, she immediately complains and tries to escape, causing extra trouble and commotion one after another. However, when she has to do something, she gets it done.

Palmon: Mimi's Digimon partner. She evolves into Togemon. She names herself the bodyguard of her beloved Mimi, becoming Togemon who can attack in all directions.

adventure2020characterart12_march5_2020.png

Joe Kido: Sixth grader. He needs to study for his middle school exams, so is completely devoted to studying no matter where he may be. Because he is the oldest of the group, he constantly makes the effort to be the one bringing them all together.

Gomamon: Jou's Digimon partner. He evolves into Ikkakumon. He covers for Jou, in his attempts at effort, one way or the other, like a perfectly dedicated wife.

adventure2020characterart13_march5_2020.png

adventure2020characterart14_march5_2020.png

Takeru Takaishi: 2nd grader. Yamato's younger brother. Due to circumstances, he is living apart from his brother, but with the incident of the first episode, he begins to possess a strange intuition.

Patamon: Takeru's Digimon partner. His evolved form fulfilled a major role in a battle from ancient times.

adventure2020characterart15_march5_2020.png

adventure2020characterart16_march5_2020.png

Hikari Yagami: 2nd grader. She normally acts and says things in a way that make it seem as if she's existing in another world. In the incident of the first episode, she senses her brother Taichi's fight while he is in the internet.

Tailmon: Hikari's Digimon partner. She indirectly influences Taichi and the others during battles. Where she is and why she won't appear is a mystery

Adventure: OP, ED, and BGM Music Info:-

On top of the trailer we have some music details for Digimon Adventure:!

takayoshi_march5_2020.jpg

The opening theme will be "Mikakunin Hikousen" (Unidentified airship) by Tanimoto Takayoshi.

He's performed theme songs for Dragon Ball Z Kai, Transformers Superlink, Zatch Bell, and he is no stranger to Digimon fans either, having performed One Vision in Digimon Tamers.

chiai_march5_2020.jpg

The ending theme is "Kuyashisa wa Tane" (Regrets bring fruit) by Fujikawa Chiai.

She performed the ED themes for Rising of the Shield Hero and is a former member of the group Meneki Kecak.

The BGM for the series is by Toshihiko Sahashi, who has done more popular anime and toku BGM than we could list, but a few selections are: Big O, Full Metal Panic, Gundam Seed, various Kamen Rider series, a number of Sentai, and a few Ultraman

From Japan
Rider Proxy
Nippon-Yasan

You'll want to provide your chosen intermediary with the link to the item. Just copy paste the link to the product pages for what you want and send them a message about it and they'll take care of it after they discuss pricing and their policies with you. The links embedded in the news article for the products are exactly what you'll need to send them.

Some of the intermediaries have a full storefront and may have the item listed, so you may want to check that first.

And a couple more quick things...

The Austarlian Classification board has classified Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna a PG rating.

The official classification date is March 6th, a day before the screening at Anime Festival. Whether this was to screen it at the convention or is a whiff of a slightly wider release isn't known at the moment.

Thanks to AnimeNewsAU for the info on that and May for the heads up.

Kizuna Collaboration at Karatez Karaoke w/ New Adventure & 02 Character Artwork

Another collaboration

kizuna_karatez0_february12_2020.jpg

It's no surprise Kizuna would do a karaoke collaboration considering how many of these have been done since tri..

For this collaboration it's back at Karatez Karaoke.

The artwork for this is brand new artwork of Taichi, Yamato, Takeru, Hikari, Daisuke, Ken, Miyako, Iori, and their Digimon! The main Kizuna poster art is being used in the main image.

The collaboration will run between February 21st and March 31st at a number of Karatez stores.

First up is the collaboration drink menu.

The collaboration drinks will be available at the following Karatez locations: Shinjuku Kabukicho, Ikebukuro East Exit Sunshine Street, Shibuya Dogenzaka, Ueno, Sakuragicho, Kawasaki Ginyanagi Street, Akihabara Showa Dori

Each drink is 556 yen and non-alcholic

kizuna_karatez1menu_february12_2020.jpg

Taichi and Agumon- Mandarin orange Syrup, peach syrup, and soda water, topped with vanilla ice cream and colored sprinkles

Yamato and Gabumon- Blue curacao syrup, ramune syrup, and whitewater, topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles

Takeru and Patamon- Manga syrup, squeezed apple-ade, and soda water, topped with vanilla ice cream and colored sprinkles

Hikari and Tailmon- Strawberry syrup and hot milk, topped with whipped cream, sugar pearls, and a cherry.

Daisuke and V-mon- Ramune syrup, hyaluronic acid (apparently it's used in drinks to give you good skin), and soda water, topped with vanilla ice cream and colored sprinkles.

Ken and Wormmon- Kiwi syrup, hyaluronic acid, and whitewater, topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles.

Miyako and Hawkmon- Matcha syrup and hot milk, topped with whipped cream, sugar pearls, and cherry sauce.

Iori and Armadimon- Apricot syrup, crushed mango jelly, and whitewater, topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles.

Each drink order gets you one coaster (at random) featuring the new artwork of each character. Everyone is dressed up all fancy and looking nice.

Collaboration drinks can be ordered for take-out, and take-out can be ordered without doing karaoke at the front desk.

They also mention a Kizuna ticket stub and a collaboration drink purchase gets you 30% off the room fee.

Next up is the Kizuna Collaboration pack Menu

It costs 1,980 yen Monday through Friday, and 2,480 yen Weekends and Holidays

The price is per person and includes 2 hours of karaoke.

kizuna_karatez2pack_february12_2020.jpg

You get a collaboration drink of your choice and a random coaster.

You also get an acrylic chopstick rest featuring a Digimon duo. (There are 4 of these, they will be given randomly.)

You also get to participate in the collaboration song challenge.

If your score ends in a double (99, 88, 77, 66), you get a collaboration drink and coaster free

The songs are a selection from Adventure and 02 including: Butter-Fly, I Wish, Keep On, Brave Heart, Target~Akai Shougeki~, Itsumo Itsudemo, Ashita wa Atashi no Kaze ga Fuku, Break Up, and Beat Hit.

Onto the products!

The collaboration goods will be sold at the Shijuku Kabukicho and Ikebukuro East Exit Sunshine Street locations.

Each features the new artwork of the kids and their Digimon.

kizuna_karatez3goods_february12_2020.jpg

First up is foil stamped postcards. There are 9 of these and they are 350 yen each. The 9th is a secret and they are packed randomly. The size is roughly 3.9 x 5.8 inches.

Next up is can badges. There are 8 of these and they are 660 yen. These are also random packed.

Last up is acrylic stands of the kids and Digimon. Each character duo will cost 1,500 yen and there are 8 of them.

A nice little collaboration for those who want to do some karaoke. All of the new artwork looks really nice, and hopefully we get some good images of them.

Kizuna in Australia and New Zealand on March 7th?

kizuna_newposterlargeen_december17_2019.jpg

Well, a bit of a surprise.

Event Cinemas in Australia (plus New Zealand) is listing Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna with a release date of March 7th.

Looks like it might be a shorter wait for those down under than they expected!

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the 20th Anniversary film for Digimon Adventure, comes out February 21 in Japan and March 25th in the US. Tickets are currently on sale for the US screenings, so check Fandango, Atom, or wherever you would normally check for
check for tickets. The Kizuna page on Fathom's website lists theaters.

Thanks to JRPictures for the news and to forum goer frankiemon827 for confirming it applies to New Zealand also.

Update- A bit of an update...

https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1230718791593664513

So it looks like it's premiering at Anime Festival Australia on March 7th.

Update- Listings have been updated at Event Cinemas, and it appears the screening is in fact just the 'one' for Anime Festival Australia. Hopefully something wider later. The New Zealand info appears to have been a misread.

Kizuna in US Theaters in March Subbed & New TV Series Accidentally Announced Early?

kizuna_newposterlargeen_december17_2019.jpg

Kizuna in US Theaters in March Subbed & New TV Series Accidentally Announced Early?

This is a fun one

The wait to see Kizuna in the US will be pretty short.

Toei has announced that Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna will be in US theaters on March 25th!

Done via Fathom for one night, Kizuna will be screened on March 25th at 7pm in Japanese with English subtitles.

Tickets go on sale February 7th.

Also they list a couple extras for the screenings

fathomextras_january8_2019.png

It will include 15 minutes of extras including interviews with the creators of Kizuna (Director Tomohisa Taguchi and Chief Animation Director Seiji Tatsukawa are specifically listed)... and it also lists a trailer for a new Digimon TV series... which hasn't been announced yet... No further detail on the new TV series, but it looks like it's gonna be a good year for Digimon fans (and if we are already getting a trailer, it does make you wonder how quickly the show will be coming.) Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the 20th Anniversary film for Digimon Adventure, comes out February 21, 2020 in Japan. A month wait to see it in US theaters isn't bad at all. The total Fathom runtime shows as 1 hour and 45 minutes. No news on a dub of Kizuna for now but hopefully it won't be a long wait. It's possible the new TV show will be announced in the upcoming Digimon livestream, so we will see.
