How to you like to re-watch the Pokemon movies? Together with their Pikachu shorts or without?

I prefer to watch the movie only (usually I watch the Pikachu short some days/weeks before the movie or after it )

I usually prefer the movie only but sometimes like the one for Movie 2000 I'll watch with the short.

The Pikachu shorts are anime shorts that air before the Pokémon movie and don't feature the human characters but only Ash's Pikachu and his friends

The Pikachu shorts are really fun to watch, but I don't think its necessary to watch them at the same time with the movies.
If I remember properly, only Pikachu's rescue adventure had any connection to the actual movie.
