It's like a personal review so, no saying,"We have Bulbapedia for this plz"
I am going to be doing this for regions now on I am going to be reviewing the places, kinda like Geography in real life, but I hate that subject. I am going to be describing the places and their histories and how the towns are called what they are called and how you might have felt when you first explored the town (and played the game), it would take me a lot of time for each city, so help will be appreciated.
I am writing this as a person who traveled the regions as a journalist. (But the first experience section is just there for the nostalgia)
Since this is the games section, I am only writing description about the region as it is in the games.
Pallet Town (First experience)
I heard some people who don't have the pleasure to live in the Pokemon World visit it by playing on some sort of device, I tried it too! But it looks bad.
After you have answered the professor questions, you find yourself in a house, on the top floor, in your room. This is your first experience ever of living in the Pokemon World. You are confused you don't know where to go, you bump into walls, Press A and B randomly, then you realize,"Oh! I move with this keypad thing, I think I have to go downstairs", thinking that you use the 'keypad thing' and go downstairs, then 'your mom' comes up to you and tells you that the professor is looking for you..
Outside and Inside(?) of Pallet Town
Pallet Town is a peaceful town, there are only about 2 or 3 people outside, there is this fat guy who won't stop bragging about the personal PC he just made and this girl who keeps reading the Trainer Tip to you, because of that you have memorized that certain tip. There are two house with a beautifully painted red, velvet roof, it is so regularly painted that you can smell the paint when you are near the house, near each of these red roofed houses are, sliver/white polished mail boxes which tell us who's house it is. One house is of a person named Red, he just left on a journey, and one is Blue's house, Red's rival, inside his house is his older sister, Daisy, she is willing to lend you a town map, just like she lent one to Red!.
The nature here is good, there is no pollution, there are flowers growing near a fence, there is also a water route on the south which leads to an island! But we haven't explored the Pokemon World YET!
Then there is a silver roofed yellow building it's the lab! It has a red chimney on top which worried the population, but fortunately the chimney was there for the look! New Pokemon Trainers go to the lab to get a Pokemon and a Pokemon encyclopedia, The PokeDex, from the professor
While I was gazing at the flowers near a fence, there was a board which said:
"Pallet Town: Shades of your journey await! "
This was a quite nice slogan, since a Pallet has different shades of colors and Pallet Town has been known to have been the hometown of many different types of trainers!
The name Pallet Town comes from the word 'pallet', pallet is a set of different colors which suits the Kanto regions because all cities and towns have names based on colors which shows that they are all each connected to the heart of Kanto where new trainers start their Journey, Pallet Town.
Route 1
When I first came to this route, I thought it was quiet complicated, some new trainers would think that too! It's filled with tall grass to catch your first Pokemon in! There are ledges you can jump of, off, when you are coming back to the town you can't jump on them when you are going north! In the middle of this route is a PokeMart merchant who is willing to give you a sample of their newest product, a Pokemon medicine, the POTION! Well it is always new to them, I have been here like 3 times and they always say it is new?
Viridain City
As the path on Route 1 ends, I am lead into a big city, bustling with people and houses and flowers, there was one peculiar building which haunted me, the seemingly burned Viridain Gym.. I asked the people and interviewed them, none of them had a clue about the so called missing gym leader.... Then I went into the Pokemon Center to rest. The Nurse ladies are pretty cute, no wonder the gym leader Brock is obsessed. After that I headed towards the exit but a drunken man was blocking the path. A young aged woman told me that she was sorry and I had to wait a little while. So I decided to dig in and find out the facts of this city!
Viridain is the first color in the Pallet of Kanto!
Viridain's Motto is-
I
(To be continued, move it to the writing forum, if there is one, ONLY If these kinds of posts are not allowed, this is kind of related to generation 1 as I am reviewing the region as it was in it's generation!)
