Do you think that Magearna is related to Diancie?

So... for me it will be a Steel/Fairy type because was created by humans (and Fairy becuase it looks like Diancie). Like Diancie it will be genderless (in my head both Diancie and Magearna are female ).
Surely it's not related to Diancie but I like to think that in the past a trainer wanted a Diancie but wasn't able to find one so he build one

Same for me I want to know if they are connected only for the movie or there will be something in the game like with Keldeo and the Sword of Justice

It seems Volcanion is the "hero" Pokemon here, Ash assisting Volcanion, to save the "damsel" Magearna.

Well one thing that I've heard is what if Magearna is either a modified Diancie (Genesect) or a "cloning" attempt of Diancie (Mewtwo). Another thing is that apparently Magearna and Diancie were officially revealed on the same day (February 14, I cannot say if this is true though).

Wasn't that Sylveon? Uhm... the official name of Sylveon was revealed on the official website on February 14, 2013

Seems that a shiny version of Magearna leaked in the Japanese magazine CoroCoro Ichiban.

the text says:
