XY Need Help

So I skipped XY and I recently got one and I was just wondering, which starter should I choose? I don't know who is good.

So I skipped XY and I recently got one and I was just wondering, which starter should I choose? I don't know who is good.

Well, Chespin/Quilladin/Chesnaught is a Grass/Fighting type, Fennekin/Braxian/Delphox is a Fire/Psychic type & Froakie/Frogadier/Greninja is a Water/Dark type.

So it really doesn't matter which one you choose.

However, I'll tell you that after you have finished the game, Shauna gives you the starter she started off with, so that might help narrow down choices

fyi shauna will pick a starter that is weak to the starter you choose ( eg: if you choose chespin, she will choose froakie )

I always choose Frokie because I like Greninja but if you use the Wonder Trade or hatch some Frokie eggs you can easily get the other 2 strters (or like @jchumisme wrote, Shauna gives you one at the end of your adventure)

Shauna gives u a Froakie at the end of the game, if you choose Chespin, that is.
And yes, Greninja is awesome
