Nintendo Has Shut Down Pokémon Essentials and its Wiki

Pokémon Essentials is a famous tool to create Pokémon fan games (like Pokémon Uranium or Prism) that many fans used since its creation in 2007.
Nintendo, with a takedown notice, shut down the wiki (with this they erased the information to create the fan games) and the downaloads of the creation tool.
“The Pokémon Essentials Wiki, and all the downloads for Pokémon Essentials, have been deleted due to a copyright infringement claim by lawyers representing Nintendo of America” says Maruno, the developer of Pokémon Essentials.

What do you guys think? Have you ever used Pokémon Essentials? Have you ever tryed to create a Pokémon fan game?

I'm in a team that's creating the Pokemon fangame, Exelis.
I wonder if the programmers in my team used Pokemon Essentials to build the initial starter town.
I hear that though the wiki has shut down, the materials are still available in Pokecommunity.
I hope that we'll have a base available by the time we start building the ROM for real.

The wiki shut down but the time machine can save the day XD

Dunno if they will open a website to add the downloads or not... if you want you can use a time machine to save the old pages

I'm currently creating Pokémon Luminon with the Essentials Kit :S But I'm not worried since I've gotten the newest version (17.2) honestly if anyone is interested here in a 'raw' version of Essentials 17.2 I have one which I can send the person who wants it! (To keep the file alive!)
