The PGL updated with age divisions for the Play! Pokémon program for the 2016 :yesyes:
The new divisions are:

Junior Division: Players born in 2005 or later
Senior Division: Players born in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004
Masters Division: Players born in 2000 or earlier

From this point forward, these new age divisions will also apply to all PGL Online Competitions. Note that Junior and Senior Division players will continue to be grouped together for most PGL Online Competitions.
