Pokémon Bank is a downloadable software for Nintendo 2DS/3DS that allows you to store many Pokémon online. You will have 100 extra boxes to use on the internet, so you will be able to deposit, store, and manage up to 3.000 Pokémon from Pokémon X & Y.
Pokémon Bank has also a protection that prevent cheated Pokémon to be stored in the bank.
This software require an annual fee and can comes along withan app called Poké Transporter.
The Poké Transporter allows you to transfer Pokémon from generation V (Black/White and Black 2/White 2) to generation VI.

To simplify the use of the bank you will have the ability to search in the boxes through the type of the Pokémon, the species, the nature and many others features.

The Poké Transporter is an app for Nintendo 3DS that allows you to transfer Pokémon from generation V (Black/White and Black 2/White 2) to generation VI into Pokémon Bank.
If you use Poké Transporter, you can't return the selected Pokémon to Pokémon Black/White and Black 2/White 2 after they have been stored in an online Box.
