After the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, a manga adaptation was released in Japan on 2006.
The story follows the adventure of Ginji, a boy who wakes up and find himself transformed into a Torchic, and his teammate Mudkip.
The first Japanese publication occurred September 28, 2006.
