I think that in the upcoming months (maybe in June) they will announce something

I don't think... if you have read the BW ending you know where he is so until at least vol. 54-55 I don't think that we will see him...
and in the previews seems that he will be mentioned
But who knows? Maybe the authors have some surprises for us XD

Because they are drawing the XY arc, the ORAS one and the volume 53 all together so it takes time it's like working at 3 different mangas at onece
(and I think that at the end of the year they will start the Sun/Moon arc...)

There's still no news about volume 53 but Amazon listed the first volume of Black 2 & White 2 with a release date of January 3, 2017 (note that the date isn't much accurate and can change)

so maybe before 2017 we will know something more about volume 53! Let's hope!
