Pokémon X and Y Version 1.4 & Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Version 1.3 live

The new patch for Pokémon X and Y (Version 1.4) and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (Version 1.3) is now available on the eShop globally. The patches are required to go online.

The version 1.3 for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire requires 271 blocks to download.

The version 1.4 for Pokémon X and Y requires 246 blocks to download.

NOTE: Both patches created a glitch which would cause international Random Matches in Battle Spot to crash after selecting the team members. This glitch seems related to the Pokémon names being in different languages (the Battle Spot was modified where the nicknames of Pokémon would display rather than the names of their species).

For the moment, Pokémon nicknames will be visible during Rating Battles and Free Battles in Random Matchups. This is a temporary measure, and we plan to revert to using actual Pokémon names in the near future.
