A new feature introduced in Pokemon X/Y is the possibility to mount a Pokemon in order to move on the map (especially in Lumiose City) or to go ahead in some areas.
GOGOAT
You can ride on Gogoat in Lumiose City for 200 yen but you have no control over the Pokémon.
LAPRAS
When you obtain a Lapras and theach it Surf, you will ride on Lapras instead of the conventional image.
MAMOSWINE
Mamoswine can be ride on Route 17 to get across a snow terrain.
It can smash rocks that are blocking the path (like Rhyhorn).
RHYHORN
Rhyhorn can be ride on Route 9 and Vaniville Town to get across a rocky terrain.
It can smash rocks that are blocking the path (like Mamoswine).
SKIDDO
Skiddo can be ride on Route 12 and with it you can jump backwards over ledges and ride really fast.
GOGOAT
You can ride on Gogoat in Lumiose City for 200 yen but you have no control over the Pokémon.
