Pokken Pokkén Tournament: Extra Battle vs "Dark Mewtwo"

A livestream on NicoNico revealed some new footage of Pokkén Tournament and an extra stage against a "Dark Mega Mewtwo X" (a Mega Evolution based on Mewtwo X). His name is for now hidden in the battle against Gengar.
This new form (maybe Mega Mewtwo Z?? Or an exclusive variation for Pokkén Tournament?) has orange crystals spikes protruding from its body and glowing orange highlights.

OMG I SAW THIS LAST NIGHT AND I LOVE IT!!! I'm glad that they used Mega X and not Y for this game, and with all the crystals he kind of reminds me of Azazel from Tekken.

I think that Mewtwo Y is not really suited for this game so X is a right choice
Now I want to know if this is a new Mega Evolution (Z?) or an exclusive variation for Pokkén

Well Y is more commercially known so that's why I said it. I think it'll probably be exclusive to this game, it be cool if by defeating these bosses you can unlock them as playable characters. I would love to use Mega X in a fighting game like this.

There have been games like this I believe just can't remember their names, sadly if we do unlock Mewtwo as a fighter from this it'll probably be regular Mewtwo not Dark Mewtwo.

Yeah, we will have Mewtwo/Mega mewtwo X (since for now we don't know if this new Mega is exclusive to Pokkén)

And Mega Evolution.... an evolution where the Pokémon will return to its usual state... uhm... now I think that Ash-Greninja is a Mega Evolution that can be achieved under certain conditions (full trust in the trainer... or like for Mewtwo: hate or darkness...)
