The new rules for the upcoming Rating Battle (Season 11) have been revealed. Season 11 will run from July 10, 2018, at 0:00 (UTC).
Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but please note that Pokémon Sun / Pokémon Moon battles and Pokémon Ultra Sun / Pokémon Ultra Moon battles will be ranked separately.
Pokémon and moves introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon may not be used in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Rating Battles.

Rating Battle Season 11:
Pokémon Restrictions: National Pokédex
Note that the Pokémon that have been recently discovered in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon will be eligible in the format for those games only
Banned Pokémon: Ultra Necrozma
Rules: The Special format for this season will be a free-for-all with virtually no restrictions. Create a team of up to six Pokémon, with no rules against duplicate Pokémon or items. The only Pokémon from the National Pokédex that you can't have on your team is Ultra Necrozma. Pokémon brought in from previous games via Poké Transporter will be permitted. Get ready for some wild matches where almost anything goes!

Get ready to bring all you’ve got to Rating Battle Season 11, where you can test your battling skills against players around the globe. The Rating Battle leaderboards reset at the beginning of each season, so you'll start at the same level as everyone else. As you battle, you’ll move up or down the rankings based on your match outcomes. Rating Battle Season 11 began on July 10, 2018, at 0:00 (UTC), so prepare for fierce battles and fun challenges.

Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon, but please note that Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon battles will be ranked separately from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon battles. Remember that you’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account and your own copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon registered at the Pokémon Global Link to participate.
