What drawing program do you use? GIMP? Photoshop? SAI? Paint.net? The software that came with a tablet? Or something else??

Some years ago I used Photoshop cs2 but after that I changed to MyPaint (free) and after that, since I started to use a graphic tablet I started using OpenCanvas 5.5 and now I use OpenCanvas 6 :yesyes: and sometimes SAI plus Photoshop for something small

I don't even draw anything, but when I want to edit an image or a drawing, I use the GIMP or Krita, both free softwares.

I mostly use SAI to do my artworks. But whenever I do those small animation, I will use GIMP since it's really simple.

Photoshop and Pixlr Express for me.

Both work like jelly and peanut butter.
Surprisingly adapt and well.

Hmm I use Gimp for animations, Paint.NET for Pixel art, and when I had my tablet (who wasn't broken then) I used Manga Studio Deluxe 5x ^-^ , though I still use manga studio when I have to edit my pages for a Yugioh fan manga I'm doing xD

Is Paint.net really that good for the pixer art? Is it free?
Manga Studio reminds me of OpenCanvas/SAI :yeahyeah: but with some more brushes for manga (like the speech bubbles). Seems a really good software :yesyes2: :sisi2:

Yeah I find Paint.net a very good program for pixelart xD (yes it's totally free) since it has layers you can use and a colour pallet just like in many professional art programs, plus I find it really easy to zoom in and scroll around (up/down left/right) the page with only my keyboard and mouse while pixeling xD

Manga studio indeed has allot of features specially for manga's, it simply doesn't has 'brushes' for speech bubbles, it has complete bubbles and layouts you can drag in your project, saves alloooot of time xD, the brushes they do have are really handy, every single brush leads to a real pen irl that actual mangaka use!! I really love the ink Pen one allot, it makes such nice lines ;-; sadly I can't use it now ;-;

I haven't used OpenCanvas or SAI before honestly, are those free software??

Manga Studio seems really interesting >w< now I want to try it! XD

No, both OpenCanvas and SAI are to pay... I bought OpenCanvas on Steam with a sale (I bought the 5.5 version and they gifted me even the version 6 :yesyes:)

You can find more info here (with a video): http://store.steampowered.com/app/431730/?l=english
I think I bought it with the sales but the normal price (14,99) isn't that bad :yesyes2: :sisi2:
Ah *watches video* Oh it does looks interesting, though tbh I don't understand what all that was about xD Maybe if I figured out that program II would know xD
Haha xD I'm a bit on the lazy part when it comes to buying stuff >-< I once bought Manga Studio Delux 4 around 10 years ago >-< and somehow I lost the disk >-< so I downloaded the new version (around 1,5 years ago) and used a random serial code (With an activator) and wham xD didn't pay a penny for it :lole2:

I prefer to buy them on Steam because I have the games/software forever and for every pc that I own :yesyes2: :sisi2: (and when you buy a software/game for 1 euro it's great XD)
