Hello trainers!

I think we can define Pokémon-Trainer.com as global website, since every day we read here messages posted by people from many different countries, from Europe to North America, from South America to Asia. And I think many people here be able to speak more languages than just our usual English.

So I'd like to ask you, what languages do you speak?

As always, I'll start.

Well, I don't think I can tell to you that I'm able to speak English, 'cause well, you all read my posts and you can see that I not write very well, at least I'm still studying English. But, I speak Portuguese, as this is my native language. And, I know a little bit of Spanish.

I speak English and Spanish, the second one is my native language. I had 6 years of French in high school so I can read and understand a little bit of French, but I just never had the opportunity to use it and now it's extremely rusty.

I speak/write/read Dutch, English and a tiny little bit Japanese (<-with this only a little reading of Hiragana and some Kanji, and a little bit speaking). whilst Dutch is my native language (Please people don't mistake this for German, cause it isn't!! I'm not from Germany... I'm from The Netherlands), I'm very fluent in reading, speaking and writing English xD some people find it hard to believe I'm a native Dutchman. I'm still learning Japanese and know the basics of it, currently I'm talking with natives (through a certain site) to get better in my Japanese skills.
I plan to learn loads of languages, at which contains many European languages and basically the Asian languages but also Russian and Arabic :D
Sooo if someone is interested in teaching a language to someone I'm OPEN for suggestions :D

I think that Japanese is really useful if you want to read manga scans roftl with this you will never have any kind of spoiler because you will read the chapter as soon as it's released!
Joke aside, isn't Japanese really difficult to learn??

Haha yeah that is so true xD that is also why I want to be able to read it xD
It can indeed be very difficult, mostly the reading is painful to learn, but at some point you get the hang of it, speaking is the most easiest to learn.. though hearing the natives speak sometimes makes my head spin cause they speak to fast to be able to understand xD
I started with speaking and understanding the basics that helped me greatly, now I'm focussing on proper speaking and reading Kanji >_< if you start with the easier thing you'll have less trouble later with the hard stuff xD

I can fluently speak Spanish (native) and English. I can fully understand French too, but I can't say the same about writing/speaking (Mais je peux parler français si tu veux) :p
I've also learnt Japanese but I'm far from being fluent at it. Also, I'd like to learn German and Hungarian at some point in the future!

Being able to communicate with as many people as possible, mostly. That and the endless possibilities to enjoy the culture in their original language. It also helps your mind, when you think in a different language that's not the same you learnt as a kid.
