Which season has the best main theme song?

Every new season of the Pokémon anime has a new theme song. What's your favourite? One of the older ones for nostalgia's sake, or one from the newer seasons?

For me it is a tie between season 6 and 11. Though there are others I find ok like some of the olders ones (season 1 and 3).

From season 10 until now I don't like anymore the English openings
So I will vote for:
Season 1 (I wanna be the very best)
Season 4 (Born to be a winner)
Season 8 (Unbeatable)

Well the ones I love are from both the English and Japanese seasons,
English:
Season 1 - I wanna be the very best (for nostalgia reasons and because it's still cool till this date xD)
Season 3 - It's a whole new world we live in (this one is one of my favourites xD I loved this Johto theme song)
Season 7 - This dream will last forever
Season 8 - Unbeatable
Well that's all them for the English ones... after that... they kinda became not so epic and catchy as before.

Japanese:
Season 1 - Aim to be a Pokémon Master (The first time I heard this one I liked it, though I do like the English version of this season more)
Season 6 - Advanced Adventure
Season 8 - Battle Fronteir (It's kinda nice though not at the top >_<)
Season 10 - Together
Season 13 - Saikou Everyday!
Season 14 - Best Wishes
Season 15 - Yajirushi ni Natte! (V1)
Season 15 - Yajirushi ni Natte! 2013 (V2)
Season 16 - Natsumeku sakamichi
Season 17 - V (Volt)
Season 18 - Mega V (Mega Volt)
Season 19 - Getta Banban
I absolutely love the X and Y openings O.O it was so catcy especially Getta Banban, that one still rings through my ears if I think of nothing >_<

And that are those from the Japanese anime >_<

Those were actually (including Aim to be a Pokémon Master) if I had a top 6 they would definatly be in there >-<

Season 1 (I Wanna Be The Very Best)- It's where I began the Pokemon Anime
Season 2 (So You Wanna Be A Master)- It's catchy I like the beginning quite a bit.
Season 4 (Born To Be A Winner)- It starts like the original XP
Season 5 (Master Quest)- Perfect theme song for any Pokemon Trainer
Season 7 (This Dream Will Last Forever)- Has a good message
Season 8 (Unbeatable)- Fun to sing
Season 9 (Battle Frontier)- Not sure why I just do...
Season 12 (Stand Up For What Is Right)- Another one with a good message.
Season 13 (Sinnoh League Victors)- Don't have a reason for this one neither...
Season 17 (XY)- A rock version of the original Wynaut?

Here is my list:

Season 1 (I Wanna Be The Very Best): I simply can't forget this one, it is nice, it is nostalgic...
Season 5 (Master Quest): I enjoy the instrumental and the lyrics are cool as well.
Season 7 (This Dream Will Last Forever): Same reason pointed by Shinso Vampire Nagato.
Season 11 (We we'll be heroes): Don't know exactly but I enjoyed this one, I think is because I liked the singer voice. (Only the TV version, the version from the movie is awful).
Season 15 (Rival destinies):I loved this one, i like the instrumental, the voices, the lyrics...
Season 16 (It's always you and me): Same reason as above.
Season 17 (XY): The first time I heard the season 17 opening was a remake from the song of the original series, I thought it would be a disaster... But actually it is pretty cool.
Season 18 (Be a hero): I loved the lyrics... This song really motivates me.


Well... I think I became less demanding with the songs over the years. xD

I stopped watching Pokémon right after Battle Frontier but I must admit Pokémon openings are quite good. My favourite ones are 'I wanna be the very best' (Season 1), Believe in Me (Master Quest) and Unbeatable (Advanced Battle)

The early Pokemon themes were incredible! (It's probably due to nostalgia, but whatever XD)
Believe in Me (Master Quest), Born to be a Winner, Unbeatable were are my favorite songs performed by David Rofle, but all the songs done by him are awesome.
Battle Frontier was superb, and music group Johto's Pokemon Johto is a really fun song.
Some of the Sinnoh themes were nice, especially We will be heroes.

Unfortunately, I've seen the theme songs going through a decline in BW, probably due to cheap producing.
I hope the English dubbed Pokemon anime regains its quality soon, and get really good theme songs to play in the movies XD

That goes for the Italian ones too since with BW they only translated the english words... with this the opening is really awful

That's a shame to hear... Once I stumbled upon the Italian Pokémon themes and I was really surprised because they were so good originals.

Well, I think the Brazilian ones were really great even they, as always, were adapted from the English ones. But I think they are great because the singers were far away better then the ones who sang the DP Brazilian openings (which were... Bad).

And, well, I think I'm the only one here who enjoyed the English openings of Pokémon BW (except for the first one, which is quite boring).

Well, I really love "So you wanna be a master" (Season 2), "It's a whole new world we live in" (Season 3) and "I wanna be a hero" (Season 6), but "I wanna be the very best" (Season 1) will always be my favourite one. Most epic song ever.

Yes before BW the series was on another channel and the songs were really good (I really liked them!!) but after that the anime was bougt by another channel so the songs are like the english one (with italian words) and the singers are (for me) really bad...
